Ook is er een iets duurdere plus-versie, waarmee onder andere invulbare formulieren kunnen worden gemaakt en er is betere ocr-functionaliteit. Het heeft een groot aantal mogelijkheden die gratis zijn te gebruiken en een aantal waar wel voor moet worden betaald. Tracker Software Products heeft versie 9.0.350 PDF-XChange Editor uitgebracht, een alternatief voor Adobe Acrobat Reader en Pro.
